World Social Work Day
Territory Families, Housing and Communities acknowledges the valuable contribution and dedication of all of the social workers in our Department. Teams celebrated World Social Work Day in different ways, including our Long Term Care Unit at Parap who came together for a breakfast before work and reflected on what being a social worker means to them.

Care Community Christmas
To celebrate the festive season, our Arnhem staff took on extra special elf duties for a children in care Christmas party. The team also arranged caregiver hampers as a thank you for all of their hard work throughout the year.

Children's Week
Our Children's Week stall at Foskey Pavilion was a great opportunity for our team to chat with parents about the support services available to them, including our Family and Children's Enquiry and Support (FACES) Line, while the kids made the most of the fun activities on offer.
