Our mission and purpose
Together with our partners, we provide culturally safe services that empower individuals experiencing vulnerability to increase safety and wellbeing for themselves, their children, and their community.
We focus on five key service areas:
- child protection
- family and youth support
- out-of-home care and carer services
- domestic, family and sexual violence prevention
- homelessness support.
Our people
We are a team of more than 800 staff, working in over 30 locations across the Northern Territory.
As a Child Protection Practitioner, you'll work with:
- Aboriginal community workers
- family and youth support officers
- other government teams, community services and local leaders.
Our people live in places they serve, building strong relationships in urban, regional and remote communities.
