What does a Child Protection practitioner do?

As Child Protection Practitioner, you’ll be part of dedicated team supporting children and families across the Northern Territory.

You’ll work to:

  • prevent harm to children through early support and intervention
  • keep the child’s wellbeing and culture at the centre of every decision
  • collaborate with other government and community services to find the best outcomes for each family.

This role is all about working with people – listening, supporting and making a difference where it matters most.

    Super11.5% (increasing to 12% on 1 July 2025)
